Scizor ex Revealed from SV5M ‘Cyber Judge’! Will a new tank deck appear?

Pokemon Card Game Japan revealed Scizor ex card and Scyther from the upcoming SV5M ‘Cyber Judge’ which will be released on January 26, 2024, along with SV5K ‘WIld Force’. In these sets, Pokemon continues to introduce more Paradox Pokemon including the ones from the latest Video Game DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

Here is the card that has been revealed today:

If you are on a PC, you can Right-Click the Image and choose 'Open Image in New Tab' for the bigger picture.

If you are on Smartphone, you can hold the picture and choose 'Preview Picture’

Cards Revealed:

Scizor ex

CC - Steel wing 70

This Pokémon takes 50 less damage from attacks during your opponent's next turn.

MM - Cross Breaker 120x

Discard up to 2 Metal Energy from this Pokémon. This attack does 120 damage for each Energy card discarded this way.

Scyther

C - Cut 10

CC - Slashing Strike 60

During your next turn, this Pokémon can’t use Slashing Strike.

What do you guys think of these cards? I think Scizor ex is a bit underpowered with a maximum damage of 240 as it won’t be hitting hard anywhere except the basic Pokemon ex. However, its 270HP may become something a bit of a consideration to be a tanking option since it is a Stage-1 Pokemon which can be set up more easily. And you can use its first attack to reduce incoming damage.
