Multiple New Cards Revealed from SV5K ‘Wild Force’ & SV5M ‘Cyber Judge’! Will a new BDIF from these sets appear?

 

Pokemon Card Game Japan revealed multiple new cards including 2 new ACE SPEC cards and multiple secret rare cards from the upcoming SV5K ‘Wild Force’ and SV5M ‘Cyber Judge’ which will be released on January 26, 2024. In these sets, Pokemon continues to introduce more Paradox Pokemon including the ones from the latest Video Game DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

SV5K ‘Wild Force’


Gengar ex

Ability - Corroding Curse

Whenever your opponent attaches an Energy from their hand to 1 of their Pokémon, put 2 damage counters on that Pokémon.

 

DD - Trick Step 160

You may move 1 Energy from your opponent's Active Pokémon to 1 of their Benched Pokémon.


Haunter

DD - Super Poison Breath 30

Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Poisoned.


Ghastly

D - Mysterious Beam

Flip a coin. If heads, discard an Energy attached to your opponent’s Active Pokémon.

 

DD - Suffocating Gas 30


Wugttrio ex

W - Troika Pump 

Discard up to 3 Energy from your hand and choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 60 damage to that Pkmn for each Energy card you discarded this way.

 

WW - Tingly Bolt 120 

During your opponent's next turn, the defending Pokémon can't retreat.


Wiglett

W - Item Dig

Search your deck for an Item card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

 

WW - Aquaball 40

This Pokemon does 20 damage to itself.


Feraligatr

Ability - Torrential Heart

Once during your turn, you may put 5 damage counters on this Pokémon. If you do, this Pokémon's attacks deal 120 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon this turn 

 

WW - Great Wave 160

This Pokémon can't use Great Wave during your next turn


Croconaw

W - Reverse Thrust 30

Switch this Pokemon with 1 of your Benched Pokemon.


Totodile

W - Big Bite 10

During your opponent’s next turn, the Defending Pokémon can’t retreat.


Whimsicott

Ability - Floaty Heal

Once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon, you may heal all damage from your Active Grass-type Pokémon. If you do, discard all Energy from that Pokémon.

Flip 3 coins. This attack does 10 damage for each heads.

Ability - Deep in Memories

Each of your evolved Pokémon can use any attacks from its previous Evolutions. (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack).

Discard the top card of your opponent's deck. If you played an Ancient Supporter card from your hand this turn, discard 3 more cards from the top of their deck.

This attack does 10 more damage for each Ancient card in your discard pile. 

 

DCCC - Speed Wing 120


Koraidon

FC - Primeval Battering 30x

This attack does 30 damage for each of your Ancient Pokémon in play. 

 

RFC - Shred 130

This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon.

After you use this card, your turn ends. Search your deck for up to 2 Item cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then shuffle your deck.

Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent's Basic Pokémon ex. 

 

PCC - Sneaky Beam 160

This attack does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.

This attack does 10 more damage for each damage counter already on your opponent's Active Pokémon.

This attack does 50 damage to each other Pokémon in play that have any damage counters on them (both yours and your opponent's).

This attack does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)


Shiftry

G - Expelling Tornado

Choose 3 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. Your opponent shuffles all of their other Benched Pokémon and all cards attached to them back into their deck. 

 

CC - Energy Loop 140

Put an Energy from this Pokémon back into your hand.

Flip 3 coins. This attack does 30 damage for each heads.

Look at the top 4 cards of your deck and put them back on top of your deck in any order. 

 

PPC - Majesty Sword 100+

If you played a Future Supporter card from your hand this turn, this attack does 100 more damage.


Miraidon

C - Speed Peak 40

Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Energy and attach them to your Future Pokémon in any way you like.

What do you guys think of these cards? I think we are going to see some interesting decks in the upcoming weeks of the release of both sets. I also think that we will get very fun stuff going on with the currently available decks with some of the new cards. Also, those secret rare cards are stunning! I can't wait to get that in English!
