Knocking out your own teammates

Soo, I have another problem (probably like 20 more problems in my mind lol) so Steelix (Paradox Rift) yes, so its earthquake move, if that 30 damage hits one of my benched pokemon which have 30 hp or less, do I take one of my prize cards or my opponent takes on of his prize cards, or it just gets discarded?
