Magnezone ex (F Rotation)
Deck Primer
This is a deck for the card that has the potential to be one of the most powerful cards ever. Here's the strategy.
To start with, you want to go second. Going second mens you can attack and use a supporter on your first turn. Now, you need to get Magnezone out quickly before your opponent can retaliate. A good lead is Arven into a Nest Ball and a TM: Evolution. If you don't already have one out, use the Nest Ball to get a Miraidon out. With Tandem Unit, there's a lot of valid options for what to get out. However, I personally mainly send out a Magnemite and Raikou. Attach an energy to something other than Magnemite, and, if possible, switch into it and attach the TM. Only attach the TM if you're using it that turn, as TM's get discarded at the end of the turn! If you have two switch options, switch into Raikou first and use it's ability to draw another card. Use evolution at the end of the turn to get a Magneton.
On your next turn, if either of them are in your hand, play Magnezone ex or Ultra Ball. Then, before switching in, if you have them, use Arven or Electric Generator. This is to make sure Magnezone has enough to pull off a strong pulse launcher early in the game, before your opponent has many ways to counterattack. If energy crush does enough damage to KO, use it instead.
Card Explanations: Now, there are some cards in the deck that you may not understand the point of that I didn't talk about in the strategy. That's what this is for!
Relicanth: Relicanth's ability Memory Dive lets your evolved Pokemon use any of the attacks from its previous stages, kind of like a BREAK card, but for everything evolved. This is used with Magnezone to let it use Junk Magnet and Magnetic Charge, letting you either get some items or energies out of the discard, meaning even if you're not using it for it's high damage output, you're still getting some use out of it.
Tsareena and Potions: This is a simple one. Pulse Launcher does recoil damage to Magnezone, making it suceptable to knock out from something like Giratina or Temporal Forces Miraidon ex. Potions are especially useful for the latter, making their Repulsion Bolt attack way weaker.
Forest Seal Stone: Because of the fact that this deck doesn't have any V-Stars on it, it's a little wasteful to just not use the single use V-STAR power. Forest Seal Stone fixes this, letting you grab any card from the deck, no strings attached. This is VERY helpful for pretty much any scenario. Keep in mind, you HAVE TO attach it to a Raikou or you can't use it.
Emolga: As you can probably tell, this has a lot of item cards in it. With Emolga's Lucky Find, you can grab any one of them and put it in your hand. Couple that with it's free retreat cost, Emolga is a pretty good thing to use on the first turn if nothing else is of use.
.... And, that's pretty much it! Everything else is kind of self-explanitory. I know most poople don't tend to write stuff in the description, so I figured I would.
Have fun with this!
