Gholdengo's Loose Change
Deck Primer
A Casual 400+ Damage
Main goal of the deck is to continuously spam Make It Rain by using a combination of energy recovery cards and Kirlia/Gholdengo draw engine to beat over any target. Utilize Gardevoir's psychic acceleration for a quick 190 from Miracle Force, Munkidori damage counter spam to lighten Gholdengo's energy discard cost and/or a Scream Tail bench pop for a cheeky prize.
Gimmighoul / Gholdengo EX
Main strategy, draw cards, search energy, discard energy to swing over anything. Keep in mind that Gimmighoul's Call for Family is a great attack to utilize going second to search any basic you may be missing.
Ralts / Kirlia / Gardevoir EX
Additive draw engine (Kirlia) and psychic acceleration. Retreat weakened Ghouldengo's to pop a quick 190 from Gardevoir, snag a cheeky prize by popping a bench with Scream Tail and/or spam damage counters with Munkidori. Since you'll be spamming Make It Rain from Gholdengo, you should never have an issue accelerating if you need to.
Munkidori
Use in combination with Gardevoir EX to spam 3 damage counters on your opponent's active every single turn.
Scream Tail
Swap Scream Tail to active and throw 4 energy on it with Gardevoir EX to cheekily steal a prize by popping a =<160 HP benched pokemon.
Radiant Greninja
More draws, you'll have plenty of energy in hand to feed it's cost.
Mimikyu
Stall for early or late game setup if you're missing pieces or they've been sacked out and you have no great options for active. Searchable with Buddy-Buddy Poffin.
Artazon
Search for any missing basics, this can find your standard basics like Ralts & Gimmighoul, but also Scream Tail, Munkidori & MimIkyu.
Ultra Ball
Search for whatever Pokemon you may be missing at that time.
Nest Ball
Search for Scream Tail, Munkidori, Radiant Greninja, Ralts or Gimmighoul based on what you need at the time.
Buddy-Buddy Poffin
For spamming the backrow with Gimmighouls & Ralts' as needed for setup.
Earthen Vessel
Search your deck for any 2 energy to feed Gholdengo's Make It Rain. Also a great tool for grabbing the single dark energy so that Munkidori's ability is live.
Superior Energy Retrieval
Similar to Earthen Vessel, but gets twice as much from discard pile. Use to feed Gholdengo's Make It Rain.
Super Rod
Use to return any pieces that may have been sacked out. This is a good utility to use to return 2 energy to deck prior to using Earthen Vessel if you're unsure as to whether or not there's any remaining energy in main deck.
Unfair Stamp
Helps mitigate the impact of Pokemon being popped early as you may find yourself with a basic Ralts or Kirlia in active for a turn or two, use this for severe disruption to your opponent. Keep in mind that it's if ANY of your pokemon were KO'd on your opponent's turn, including benched, which can be vital when mirroring (Scream Tail) or going against decks such as Dragapult EX etc.
Technical Machine: Evolution
For getting Ralts & Gimmighoul to Kirlia & Gholdengo as fast as possible. May not need it every time, but definitely comes in handy when it's needed given Gardevoir EX is a Stage 3 and your primary draw engine is tied behind multiple Stage 1s. Make sure to search this out with Arven even if you don't need it just to deck thin as there's no other tools (as of 06/26/24, this may change as I continue testing).
Arven
Extremely strong selective search, use this as early as possible to immediately resolve a Technical Machine: Evolution and find whatever item you may need. Later game, can be utilized to search Earthen Vessel/Superior Energy Retrieval or Super Rod if you feel you need some recovery.
Tulip
Just a Superior Energy Retrieval but for no cost and can also snag psychic pokemon in-case any of your pokemon (aside from Gholdengo) get sacked out. Keep in mind this uses your supporter for the turn, regardless it can be game-changing especially when used in-tandem with a Superior Energy Retrieval to guarantee a 450 damage Make It Rain.
Boss's Orders
Wins games, use to cheekily pop one of your opponent's benched Pokemon.
Closing Notes:
Still experimenting with this here and there, it may be wise to move Tulip out for more tools given the amount of Arvens in the deck. Tulip is a fantastic card, the issue is it takes a supporter slot and isn't always necessary but when it goes off with Superior Energy Retrieval Gholdengo can swing over practically any threat in the game. If I were to move Tulip I'd experiment with Bravery Charm or Enhanced Hammer depending on what you were going against.
Have fun!
