Espathra ex and Farigiraf ex are both decent attackers that offer disruption effects. Espathra makes it more difficult for decks to actually attack and more often than not makes your opponent waste energy cards. Farigiraf is immune to damage from Basic Pokemon ex and can 2HKO most things in the format (which you can include a damage-boosting Tool or two to help alleviate). Both of them benefit from Xatu and its ability to attach energies and draw cards, and Xatu has the benefit of having 100 HP to be able to survive a hit from Radiant Greninja. Extra disruption power is included in the form of Iono and Pokemon League Headquarters.
1 Temple of Sinnoh used to be run instead of 1 HQ, but HQ is just too essential to slowing the opponent down and shutting down several decks.
Manaphy and Jirachi are here to help protect your Bench, because the deck's main attackers and support start as tiny Basic Pokemon. Jirachi also serves a dual purpose to search for energy cards if it's forced to be in the active spot.
