Anything's possible (but this one's standard and Rayquaza)
Deck Primer
This one is quite different from the others because it has a very different strategy. Instead of trying to get whatever you need into the discard pile and then using mustard, archie, or maxie to bring it back, you use cards to discard energy and then return them. It is more like an energy recycle deck. Of course we have the beloved altaria, but skwovet is no longer with us since we would rather have more cards in our hand this time. For the first turn these are the cards you would want, (but this deck is much more flexible):
Charcadet (Scarlet & Violet) (you can get it with battle VIP pass, nest ball, or ultra ball) (not required)
Mareep (Scarlet & Violet) (look above for ways to get it) (not required)
swablu (obsidion flames) (look above for ways to get it) (not required)
Rayquaza V (Crown Zenith) (adventurer's discovery, ultra ball, battle VIP pass, nest ball) (required eventually)
All of these cards evolutions are very helpful. You can get them with ultra ball, jacq, and in some cases, adventurer's discovery.
Chi-Yu ex (Paldea Evolved) (nest ball, battle VIP pass, ultra ball) (not required.)
Anyways the strategy to this deck is quite simple really. It can be quite effective though. It depends on either if you are going for fire or lightning. Both is also a good idea.
First of all if you are going for fire, you want your set up to be chi yu as your active pokemon to start off with, then swablu, rayquaza, and charcadet on your bench. Another rayquaza is helpful and a mareep is always good so those can fill up the rest of the spaces but you may want to leave those open.
Then once you are set up, as soon as you can start attacking with chi-yu's flame surge. Attach the energies to any pokemon, it doesn't really matter. Then, if you have armarouge, use that to move all the energies to rayquaza so that it is 240 more damage worth per turn. plus if you attach the usual energy every turn, that is an entire 340 damage for each turn you attack with rayquaza VMAX. But remeber, armarouge is only good to help your ACTIVE pokemon so be careful. Don't rush ALL the enrgies onto it, just three or four or whatever you need. Each turn you spend attacking with Chi-yu, is another instant KO.
Lighting is not very good on it's own, but it is slow but steady. I decided to focus more on fire type with this deck, but flaffy's are a constant provider for energy every turn. Plus I am pretty sure that if you have multiple, the abilities stack. So if you get 4 of them, that is four energies rotating between pokemon and discard pile. That can also be a one hit KO but I didn't put many mareeps so they are more of a backup.
Swablu is good paired with rayquaza because you can just grab any supporter you need and put it on top of the deck, and you can either wait until next turn, or use rayquaza if you have a crappy hand to discard it and draw that supporter and 2 more cards. It is very useful for getting exactly what you need. (as long as exactly what you need is a supporter that can get you what you need)
Anyways that's about it. More versions coming soon!
Hope you like the deck!
