Alcremie Vmax (energy demon)
Deck Primer
This deck uses a complex strategy playing on on the attack "G-Max Whisk". The first impression of this deck is the ridiculously high chance of a good starting hand. Starting Tactic: The starting tactic is also hard to penetrate because of the stunning amount of oppurtunities at the starting hand. There aren't many basic Pokemon in this deck, so why not utilize it? There are a lot trainers that let you search the deck for basic Pokemon, and Vs, so you will always have support, even when you have a bad basic like Milcery on your first draw. The main target is to get Alcremie Vmax out onto the field as soon as possible along with Kirlia, Alcremie and Articuno V. To achieve this, Sonia, Adventurer's Discovery, Opal, Fog Crystal, and Bug Catcher allow you to mobilize all of these Pokemon within 3 turns. However, 3 turns is a lot of time, so there are a lot supporters and items that can help set up the rest of the game in these 3 turns. The main cards I listed above can also be used as a support to get other necessary cards needed for the main tactic. Professor's Research is prominent in this category allowing you to start fresh on your 2nd of 3rd turn. In that time, you can scavenge your deck for cards. USE PROFESSORS RESEARCH AND QUICK BALL TO GET HELP, THOUGH DON'T WASTE ENERGIES! Do not use Marnie at the beginning unless absloutely necessary, this makes it so you can't throw your opponent off at the end of the game which is part of the end game tactic. The main Pokemon to have out by the end of this phase are: Alcremie Vmax (Active), Alcremie (Bench), Kirlia (Bench), Articuno V (Bench), and Radiant Gardevoir (Bench). Whimsicott comes in later. You also want to have an energy stash in your hand of 4+ basic energy and 1-2 special. Make sure to use Adornment early. That is the basic jist of it, pretty simple, so now its time for the midgame phase. Midgame Tactic: Power Alcremie Vmax with energies. That is the only thing you need to do, though this section has the easiest way to do it. Use Fog Crystal and Sonia to get all possible energy into your hand. Switch Alcremie into the main spot with Switch and use Decorate. This will sacrifice a prize card just so you know. Use this to shower your Pokemon with energies. If you do not have enough energies to start with this, utilize Reconstitute and Refinement to get more energy and then use Alcremie after. Only use horror energy on Alcremie Vmax (all 3 if possible) for punishment on opponent for taking out main power if they are successful. Raihan, Pokemon Center Lady, and Boss's Orders are all safeguards for Alcremie Vmax in case anything were to ever happen. Once all of the energies are onto your Pokemon, use as many as you need per turn to annihalate your opponents Pokemon. I hope you saved your Ordinary Rods, because they will be what helps retrive energies from the discard pile for a possibility of 360 added damage. Temple of Sinnoh is a fun bonus to deactivate Double Turbo Energy which was only needed for other Pokemon in the beginning in case of really bad luck. It also disadvantages your opponent which is nice. Remember to always be using to keep using Kirlia and Articuno to delete excess cards that aren't needed. (This includes: Switch, Professor's Research and extra Pokemon except Alcremie V and Vmax). If you never got Alcremie Vmax up to enough power yet somehow, then Whimsicott Vstar is also a great attacker using its Vstar Power, which has a similar tactic to Alcremie Vmax. This makes it so you don't need to abruptly change your startegy. Just make sure to use Boss's Orders when pulling this off, because it is a one time thing, so make it a banger. Endgame Tactic: Assuming you didn't screw something up earlier, you should have the advantage for the endgame. Make sure to throw them a curveball with Marnie the turn before you do the endgame. The endgame is going to utilize the incredibly important card, Boss's Orders. Boss's Orders will be used to force an opponents Vmax or other high prize to get the win using the final energy cards. Make sure to pop off when you finish and say you beat your opponent with a wedding cake, and have a great day.
