Pokemon just announced that the 3 winners of the Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest 2022 are now available in English. Those 3 cards are Arcanine, Greninja, and Bulbasaur. You can obtain it through a link where you can get a Promotional Code if you are eligible. This Promotional Code can be redeemed with a purchase of over $30, $30 CAD, or £30 until September 30, 2023. This code is for one-time use only.
Before coming to English, Pokemon Card Game Japan announced that these cards would be coming to the Pokemon Center, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Stores, and Pokemon Center branch in SMARK Isesaki. It is available for those with a minimum purchase of 2,000 yen in respective stores. You will get 3 of them at once and not one of the 3.
For those who don’t know, the Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest is a contest that requires artists/participants to draw certain Pokemon. For the Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest 2022, there were 10,380 entries and only 100 entries passed the second screening.
Here are the 3 cards that you can get:
Arcanine
RRC - Sun-Drenched Tackle 160
During your next turn, this Pokémon can't attack.
Greninja
WCC - Coordinated Shuriken 120
This attack also does 10 damage to 3 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Bulbasaur
G - Shake and Gather
Flip a coin until you get tails. For each head, draw a card.
