Pokemon Indonesia has revealed a new campaign series called Pikachu’s Indonesia Journey which will feature a small story series involving Pikachu and its journey across multiple cities in Indonesia to ignite tourism in Indonesia. This event will also include some special events in the TCG and GO departments. In the TCG department, Pokemon Indonesia is giving away an exclusive Pikachu promo card named ‘Pikachu Berkemeja Batik’ (Pikachu in Batik Shirt) as part of the campaign where you will need to participate in their TCG events such as learner's workshop.

While in the GO department, there will be a special Pikachu in Batik Shirt which you can catch in various cities where the campaign will be held. For now, Bali will be holding this event on March 2 -3, 2024, but it will be a closed event where you can buy the tickets at the price of 150,000 IDR (around 10 USD).

There are also various events such as a collaboration performance from JKT48 (Indonesia’s AKB48), a splash show, an EDM show, a kids carnival, and even a Pokemon Run event in which you can participate. You can check all the various events on their official website here:

Also, Pokemon Indonesia is collaborating with one of Indonesia’s airlines, Garuda Indonesia to create a special Pokemon livery for their chosen plane ‘Pikachu Jet GA-1’. The plane that will be used is a Boeing 737-800 NG which will have Squirtle, Hosea, Finneon, Mantine, and Butterfree on the left side while Bounsweet, Oddish, Eevee, Aipom, and Vileplume on the right side. It is also revealed that the 2 planes that will have the livery will be available on February 23, 2024, and will fly from Jakarta to Bali and back.
