Pokemon Card Game Japan officially revealed their new upcoming set SV2a ‘Pokemon Card 151’ which will be released on June 16, 2023, on their 2023 Champions League Miyagi livestream. The set will have 165 cards before Art Rare, Super Art Rare, and so on (Secret Rares rarity is still unconfirmed), and will cost 290 yen per booster pack but with 7 cards inside. Within this set, Pokemon introduced new Pokemon ex, including Alakazam ex with the long-awaited Kadabra, Mew ex, and possibly Venusaur ex, Charizard ex, and Blastoise ex.
Also, if you look carefully, their card number reflects their Pokedex number so we will likely see all of the Generation 1 Pokemon here.
Here are the details for each card that has been revealed today:

What do you guys think of these cards? I like how Mew ex turns out because not only can we draw cards, but because we can easily copy our opponent’s attack, we can do so much fun stuff. However, it is a conditional card meaning that we need to have a good matchup for Mew ex to have a good time. On the other hand, Alakazam ex is a very unique card where we can attack from the bench! I think this can be a great card where you can just put Klefki, Diancie, or even Ting-Lu ex on the Active spot while attacking using Alakazam ex on the bench.
