A few hours after the official release of the upcoming new Scarlet ex and Violet ex set in Japan, TPCi also announced the English/International set of Scarlet and Violet. The Scarlet and Violet set will be released on March 31, 2023. In this new era, there will be some major changes to the card and some price adjustments as well. The price for each booster pack will be starting from $4.49 but right now it will guarantee 3 foil cards with a ‘Rare’ rarity or higher.
Here is the detail for the other changes:
Border Color Change
First, there will be changes in the border from yellow to gray border so it can match the Japanese one and provide a more seamless experience.
Text Position Change
Next, there will be changes in the position of the Supporter, Item, and Stadium text so you can see them better when holding your cards in hand.
Additional Energy Symbol
There’s also a change in Energy cards where there will be an additional symbol on the bottom right so you can have an additional ‘mark’ that you can see.
Expansion & Language Codes
Lastly, the expansion symbol will be changed into expansion codes and language codes across all cards. BOTTOM LEFT

Alongside the announcement for changes, Pokemon also revealed some of the cards that will be included in this set.
Miraidon ex
Ability - Tandem Unit
Once during your turn, you may search your deck for 2 Basic Lightning Pokemon and put them onto your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck.
LLC - Photon Blaster 220
During your next turn, this Pokemon can’t attack.
Koraidon ex
Ability - Dino Cry
Once during your turn, you may attach up to 2 Basic Fighting Energy cards from your discard pile to your Basic Fighting Pokemon in any way you like. If you use this Ability, your turn ends.
FFC - Wild Impact 220
During your next turn, this Pokemon can’t attack.

C - Scratch 10
GC - Leafage 20
Fuecoco
C - Gnaw 10
RRC - Combustion 50
Quaxly
C - Pound 10
WC - Kick 20

What do you guys think of this new era? I really like that Pokemon decides to match the Japanese card because, in my opinion, the gray border is much better than the yellow one. We also get more foil cards from booster packs which means that we can collect more Rare cards. However, the release date seems to be a bit far and I think this is because of Crown Zenith. I hope that this new era will bring us more fun and joy!
