Pokemon officially announced that they have updated the Championship Points requirement for this year’s 2023 Pokémon TCG World Championships. Championship Points is a system introduced by Pokemon where you can earn them at events throughout the Championship Series season. While you are earning those points, you can hit a certain number in order to receive an invitation based on both geographical rating zone and age division. The top-ranking players will automatically advance to Day Two and will also receive a travel award to attend the event.
Besides TCG, the top-performing VGC, Pokemon GO, and Pokemon Unite will also have certain requirements to qualify for this year’s 2023 Pokémon World Championships. This time, the 2023 Pokémon World Championships will be held in Yokohama, Japan. The 2023 Pokémon World Championships will be a three-day event and players who qualify for the first day will begin competing on Friday.
Here are the details for the requirement of Championship Points:

What do you guys think of the update? I think this can at least ease us a bit because we finally have a clear set of goals for the Worlds invite. However, it is still a bit disappointing because people qualifying under TPC will be a bit less than TPCi because of the difference in the organized play system.
