Pokemon Card Game Japan just revealed new cards from the upcoming set S9 ‘Star Birth’. The set will be released on January 14, 2022, and will be priced at 4950 Yen per box. The booster box will contain 30 Booster Pack. The set will be having 100 cards before SR, HR, etc.

Here are the new cards:

Riolu

FF - Ankle Sweep 50

Lucario

Ability: Fierce Spirit

Once per turn, you can place 2 damage counters on this Pokemon, then attach 1 [Fighting] Energy from your Deck and attach it to this Pokemon.

F - Continuous Aura Sphere 10+

Discard all [Fighting] Energy attached to this Pokemon, this attack deals 60 more damage for each.

Dusknoir

Ability - Special Trance

Any number of times per turn, you can move 1 Special Energy attached to your Pokemon to another Pokemon.

PCC - Soul Eater 120

What do you guys think? VSTAR will surely be one of the cool things to have. But with Lucario here, it has a very big potential to be one of the single-prize powerhouses. Dusknoir on the other hand can be a good addition to psychic decks. But because it is a Stage 2 Pokemon, many people will reconsider it.
