Dialga VSTAR
Deck Description
Your main attacker here, if it wasn't fairly obvious, is Dialga VSTAR, with Magnezone as a back-up attacker in a pinch. You've got standard draw power using Radiant Greninja to discard 1 Energy for 2 cards. Miraidon ex is there to help you play Rotom V, which helps you draw even more cards at the cost of ending your turn, and getting 2 Magnemite into play.
With the draw power and having both Adaman and Irida in the deck, it should be fairly easy getting both Magnezone and Rare Candy to help power up Dialga VSTARs admittedly costly VSTAR attack and standard attack. Attaching 6 energy can OHKO any VSTAR, 7 will OHKO most VMAX and 8 will OHKO VMAX pokémon like Urshifu VMAX, who have 330HP.
Dialgas VSTAR attack, Star Chronos, is incredibly powerful and can easily turn the tide of any battle or secure your win con. It's best used on pokémon like Miraidon ex who have 220HP, allowing you to get the most out of it and you can go again, allowing you to use Magnezone to power up yet again. If you've got 2 Magnezone in play, you're almost guaranteed to get the Energy you need in play. You can also use the Magnezone as single prize back-up attackers that hit for 120HP for 1 Metal and 2 Colorless Energy.
Irida is there mostly to get item cards but it's recommended to also grab either Lumineon V or Radiant Greninja as it thins out your deck, making Magnezones job easier. Adaman is there because you'll almost certainly always have at least 2 Metal Energy on hand at any given moment, allowing you to dig into your deck for any 2 cards. Avery and Judge are thrown in for major disruption, draw power, and to get any excessive Metal Energy shuffled back into your deck should you need it. Serena and Boss's Orders need no explanation. Thorton is a very circumstantial card and the most likely to be ditched, but it does have a use should your Rotom V, Radiant Greninja or even Lumineon V get gusted into the active spot and you have no way to move it - it can be swapped with a discarded Dialga V. Zinnia's Resolve for more draw power, depending on the size of the opponents bench.
Overall, I've used the deck pretty extensively and have had a good deal of consistency and fun playing it. I won't lie and say it's the best deck ever and never bricks, it does happen, but it's not too complicated and really just a fun deck. It also won me 3rd place in a local Pokémon League tournament. If I were to swap anything around, I'd ditch Thorton and 1 Avery for 2 Workers to help get any early Paths out of play and, of course, even more draw power.
