Pokemon Card Game Japan officially revealed multiple Special Art Rare and Art Rare cards consisting of all of the Kanto Starters evolution lines such as Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. These cards will be obtainable in the upcoming SV2a ‘Pokemon Card 151’ set which will be released on June 16, 2023, with a price tag of 290 yen/booster pack but with 7 cards inside. 

With the release of this set, Pokémon debuted several new Pokémon ex, including Mew ex, Alakazam ex, and the original Kanto starters, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Additionally, as each card number corresponds to their Pokedex number, we will see every Generation 1 Pokémon here.

What do you guys think of these cards? I really like the Venusaur and Blastoise artwork because it really resembles their environment. On the other hand, I kind of not quite like the Charizard ex Special Art Rare because it looks so small in the card. But nonetheless, I think these cards will attract so many collectors.
