During their closing ceremony, Pokemon officially revealed the return of Trainer’s Pokemon with some of the cards being revealed. This mechanic will feature some of the notable trainers in the Pokemon world with their Pokemon partners. You will meet these Pokemon in the regular Pokemon card and Pokemon ex as well. For now, there is still no release date or set name for which the cards will be issued.

Cards Revealed:
Lillie’s Clefairy ex
Ability - Fairy Zone
The Weakness of each of your opponent’s Dragon Pokemon in play is now Psychic-type. (Apply Weakness as x2.)
PC - Full Moon Rondo 20+
This attack does 20 more damage for each Benched Pokemon (both yours and your opponent’s).
Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex
Ability - Punk Up
When you play this Pokemon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokemon during your turn, you may search your deck for up to 5 Basic Dark Energy cards and attach them to your Marnie’s Pokemon in any way you like. Then shuffle your deck.
DD - Shadow Bullet 180
This attack also does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)
N’s Zoroark ex
Ability - Trade
You must discard a card from your hand in order to use this Ability. Once uring your turn, you may draw 2 cards.
DD - Night Joker
Choose 1 of your Benched N’s Pokemon’s attacks and use it as this attack.
N’s Reshiram
RL - Powerful Rage 20x
This attack does 20 0damage for each damage counter on this Pokemon.
RRLC - Virtuous Flame 170
Pokemon also teased their future set by displaying a letter R with a Mewtwo silhouette hinting at a new set or Pokemon with Team Rocket as the Trainer. This might be a very fun mechanic that we might see in 2025!
