In today’s article, it will be a bit short but I will be talking about three must-have supporter cards in your deck, or at least you need to have them in your arsenal so you can experiment with it.
The Supporter Trio: Professor’s Research - Marnie - Boss’s Orders
Card Overview
Every deck must be playing at least one of these cards. The consistency and easefulness of playing this card can be frightening to your opponent because you can just basically get every setup in order.
Professor’s Research
This card is almost played in every single deck right now. The way you discard your hand and get 7 fresh cards is very good but can also be very bad if what you are discarding is a core Pokemon of your deck. But, you can get around it by holding it and use Research after you put down your core Pokemon in play. Almost every deck brings at least 3 copies of Research right now.
In some cases, your hand will be having more than 2 Research and you are forced to use it. It feels really bad to be losing many draw power. That's where Pal Pad comes, you can recycle your Supporter back to your deck.
Marnie
Ah, Marnie, the waifu for some people out there, the disruption we need in this meta, and fairly good draw power. This card may not be played as much as Research, but when she is played, the disruption may leave your opponent in the Brick City.
The pro of playing this card is you are not discarding your hand, but put it at the bottom of your deck. So you can save some cards that may be a vital point of your setup. But the condition of staying at the bottom of your deck may become a problem if you cannot get it out or shuffle it. If you manage to shuffle it, you may have a godly topdeck and bring your core card out.
In some decks, people try to substitute her with other cards like Raihan, Melony, or Bird Keeper. But I think almost every deck brings at least 2 copies of Marnie unless you have a Supporter engine for your deck like Melony for the Water Type Pokemon or Welder in the past rotation.
Boss’s Orders 
This card can be a game-changer. If your opponent retreats the active damage Pokemon onto the bench. You may not have a method to bring it back for you to hit it. But Boss’s Order is here now and it is very impactful.
Maybe almost all of you guys have experienced it. The moment when you topdeck a Boss’s Orders and you realized you win the game. Or maybe the opposite, you are praying that your opponent doesn’t have Boss’s Orders so you can survive a turn.
This card is really a total game-changer in some matchups. Almost every deck brings at least 2 copies of Boss’s Orders.
Conclusion
The way the current meta is going, I think this Supporter trio is a must-have in your arsenal with 4 copies of each card. Because you can try to experiment by reducing it or changing it to another Supporter and surprise the opponent.
