Snorlax Art Rare, Electrode Evoline, and Slowpoke Revealed from SV2a ‘Pokemon Card 151’! It keeps getting better!

 

Pokemon officially revealed Snorlax Art Rare along with Electrode evolution line as part of the upcoming SV2a ‘Pokemon Card This set will be released in Japan on June 16, 2023, with 165 cards in the set before Art Rare, Super Art Rare, etc., and will cost 290 yen per booster pack but with 7 cards inside

 

With the release of this set, Pokémon debuted several new Pokémon ex, including Mew ex, Alakazam ex, and the original Kanto starters, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Additionally, as each card number corresponds to the number on their Pokedex, we are likely to see every Generation 1 Pokémon here.

 

Here are the details for each card that has been revealed today:

Cards Revealed:


Electrode

L - Bomb Chain 20+

Before doing damage, you may discard any number of Pokémon Tools from your Pokémon. This attack does 40 more damage for each card you discarded in this way.

 

LC - Electro Ball 70


Voltorb

L - Rolling Attack 10+

Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage. 


Slowpoke

P - Sea Bathing

Heal 30 damage from this Pokemon. This Pokémon recovers from all Special Conditions.

 

CC - Headbutt 20


Snorlax

Ability - Gluttony

Once during your turn, you may put up to 2 Leftovers cards from your discard pile into your hand.

 

CCC - Thudding Press 130

This Pokémon also does 30 damage to itself.


What do you guys think of these cards? I think Electrode can be a fun card to play with in a non-competitive scene because it can do phenomenal damage with its first attack. On the other hand, I really love that Snorlax artwork, I hope that I can get one when I open up these packs.
