The upcoming ‘Scarlet & Violet’ Prerelease Promo cards have been revealed. As usual, these promos will be obtainable when you buy Build & Battle Boxes for the ‘Scarlet and Violet’ set.

The ‘Scarlet & Violet’ set will be released on March 31, 2022, and it will cover over 198 cards before Secret Rares. In the ‘Scarlet and Violet’ era, the ex-mechanic will be reintroduced. The ex-mechanic is identical to the other Rule Box Pokemon in that if your Pokémon gets knocked, you will receive additional Prize cards. The ex-mechanic differs in that it must evolve from a regular Pokemon (if it is an Evolution Pokemon)

Here are the Prerelease Promo cards:

Ability - Rumble Engine

You must discard an Energy card from your hand in order to use this Ability. Once during your turn, you may draw cards until you have 6 cards in your hand.

MCCC - Knock Away 90+

Flip a coin. If heads this attack does 90 more damage.

What do you guys think of the Pre-Release Promo cards? I think Revavroom and Hawlucha will be the main chase here. However, Pawmot and Quaquaval can easily be the chase cards too for some decks because of their acceleration ability despite being Stage-2 Pokémon. I really hope that we get to see all of these cards being played in big tournaments.

In case you miss it, Pokemon Center is already open for pre-order (Booster Pack & Elite Trainer Boxes).
