Pokemon officially revealed the design and product shot of the upcoming Scarlet Elite Trainer Box and Violet Elite Trainer Box. As you guys may already know, the Scarlet and Violet set will be officially released on March 31, 2023. In this set, Pokemon will also have 2 Elite Trainer Boxes with their respective design.
Pokemon also share a very interesting statement about the Scarlet and Violet set:
Noteworthy cards from the expansion include:
12 double rare Pokémon ex, including two Tera Pokémon ex featuring Arcanine and Gyarados
12 ultra rare Pokémon ex and eight ultra rare Supporter cards
24 illustration rare Pokémon
10 special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
Six hyper rare gold etched cards, which can include Pokémon ex, Trainer and Energy cards
Looking at the statement above, we will get 24 Illustration Rare Pokemon cards which is very big considering the set. We also get to see the comeback of Gold Energy cards! Let’s just hope that we get to see very interesting cards be it from their playability or design.
Pokemon Center also finally open the pre-order of the Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box and they will also include 2 full-art foil promo cards featuring Koraidon/Miraidon where one of them will have a Pokémon Center logo on it.

What do you guys think of the new Scarlet and Violet set? I think the special Koraidon and Miraidon promo card can be a great chase for these Elite Trainer Boxes. However, you will be paying more than the regular Elite Trainer Box. But I think it is worth the money if you will be getting exclusive promo cards like those mentioned above. I just can't wait for this set to be released because of how many cool-looking cards there will be!
