Happy Pokémon Day! Today, Pokémon officially held another Presents to commemorate the 27th anniversary of Pokémon. This time there is a lot to recap from this Presents starting from the announcement of the Pokemon World Championship date until the reveal of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet DLC ‘The Hiden Treasure of Area Zero’.

World Championship 2023
Pokémon officially announced that the World Championship 2023 will be held on August 11 - 13, 2023, at PACIFICO Yokohama. The Worlds Championship 2023 will hold 4 championships which are, Trading Card Game, Video Game, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic

Besides its anime and other sets of entertainment, Pokémon decide to grow its diverse lineup by having a new series partnered with Netflix, Pokémon Concierge. Pokémon Concierge will be telling a story about a concierge named Haru at the Pokémon Resort. You can check its teaser trailer here:

In commemorating Pokémon Day, Pokémon UNITE will be made available in-game. You will also get to have a gold Zacian Pokémon boost emblem by entering the gift code, PokémonDAY.

Pokémon Cafe ReMix

The game just added Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly to join your staff. You also get to have a new dish Paldea plate, which is inspired by Paldea Pokémon. Also, you can log in to the game until March 16, 2023, to receive Greninja in a great chef outfit as part of the Pokémon Day Celebration.
Pokémon Masters EX

This time, Pokémon Masters EX is holding a 3.5 Year Anniversary with special log-in bonuses and new master sync pairs. You will also get to obtain 3,000 gems as a celebratory gift and if you log in throughout the coming weeks, you can claim additional bonuses, such as a 5-star Champion Select Scout Ticker and 10-Pair Scout Tickets.
Pokémon Sleep & Pokémon GO Plus +

Pokémon also announced a new mobile game called Pokémon Sleep that will be released in summer 2023 for iOS and Android devices. This game will make you excited to wake up in the morning as you will help Professor Neroji to research Pokémon sleep styles.
On the other hand, Pokémon also announced a new accessory called Pokémon GO Plus + which uses Bluetooth® Low Energy technology to connect with your smartphone where you can use it in Pokémon GO and Pokémon Sleep.

Starting February 27, 2023, you can connect your Pokémon Scarlet and/or Pokémon Violet game to Pokémon GO to receive Gimmighoul Coins and other items. You will also get the opportunity to catch Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokémon GO.

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Tera Raid Battle

You will also get to experience a Tera Raid Battle featuring 2 new Pokémon, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. Walking Wake will have a Water/Dragon type with a Water Tera Type and Iron Leaves will have a Grass/Psychic type with a Psychic Tera Type. You can try to challenge this Tera Raid Battle starting from February 27, 2023, at 7.00 AM until March 12, 2023, at 4.59 PM PST.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet DLC

Last but not least, Pokémon announced a DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet game named The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. This DLC will be divided into 2 parts where the first part named The Teal Mask will launch in fall 2023, while the second part named The Indigo Disk will launch in around winter 2023. You will meet new Pokémon and Pokémon also revealed 2 new legendary Pokémon, Ogerpon and Terapagos.

What do you guys think of this Pokémon Presents? I actually was hoping we get a new Legends game but somehow we get a DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. It is quite sad however because we get 2 new legendaries, I will look forward to what the DLC will bring us. But still, we get to see some great news such as Pokemon Sleep, Pokemon TCG Classic, and new Pokemon from the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet DLC.
