New Cards and Products from the Pokémon GO Set Revealed!

Today, there’s a simultaneous reveal around the world for the upcoming Pokémon GO set. The Pokemon Company (International) reveal a lot of cards and products where it will be available on July 1, 2022 (Countries under TPCi) or June 17, 2022 (Countries under TPC). 

 

Here are the cards and products that have been revealed:

Cards


Mewtwo VSTAR

PC - Psy Purge 90x

Discard up to 3 Psychic Energy from your Pokemon. This attack does 90 damage for each card you discarded in this way

 

[VSTAR POWER] PC - Star Raid

This attack does 120 damage to each of your opponent’s Pokemon V. This damage isn’t affected by Weakness or Resistance. (You can’t use more than 1 VSTAR Power in a game.)


Mewtwo V

PC - Super Psy Bolt 50

 

PPC - Transfer Break 160

Move an Energy attached from this Pokémon to 1 of your Benched Pokémon.


Alolan Exeggutor V

G - Growing Tall

Flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for up to 5 Grass Energy cards and attach them to your Pokémon in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck.

 

CCC - Head Swing

This attack does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon for each Grass Energy attached to this Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)


Melmetal V

MM - Arm Charge 50

You may attach a Metal Energy card from your hand to this Pokemon

Radiant Eevee

C - Twinkle Gathering

Search your deck for a number of cards up to the number of different types of Pokemon you have in play and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. 

 

CCC - Boost Dash 50


Pikachu

LCC - Buddy Bolt 30+

If you played a Supporter card from your hand during this turn, this attack does 30 more damage. 


Pikachu (Promo)

C - Gift Delivery

Flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for an Item card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

LCC - Pika Ball 50


Eevee

C - Whiny Voice

Choose a random card from your opponent’s hand. Your opponent reveals that car and shuffles it back into their deck.

 

CC - Tackle 20


Gyarados


C - Wreak Havoc

Flip a coin until you get tails. For each heads, discard the top 2 cards of your opponent's deck.

 

WWCC - Wild Splash 230

Discard the top 5 cards of your deck. 


Magikarp

C - Lively Grouping

Search your deck for any number of Magikarp, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

 

CC - Raging Fin 10+

This attack does 30 more damage for each Magikarp and Gyarados in your Discard Pile. 


Snorlax

Ability - Block

As long as this Pokemon is in the Active Spot, your opponent’s Active Pokemon can’t retreat

 

CCCC - Collapse 150

This Pokemon is now Asleep. 


Melmetal

CC - Headbutt 60

 

MCC - Swinging Smash 30+

Flip 2 coins. This attack does 90 more damage for each heads. 


Meltan

CC - Thunder Shock 20

Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed.


Blissey

C - Enriching Egg

Heal all damage from 1 of your Benched Pokemon. 

 

CCC - Zen Headbutt 100


Chansey

C - Delicious Egg

Heal 30 damage from 1 of your Benched Pokemon.

 

CC - Gentle Slap 30


Ambipom

Ability - Primate Dexterity

If any damage is done to this Pokemon by attacks, flip a coin. If heads, prevent that damage.

 

C - Full Tilt Fling 60x

Flip a coin for each Energy attached to this Pokemon. This attack does 60 damage for each heads.


Aipom

C - Bustle

Flip a coin. If heads, during your opponent's next turn, prevent all damage from and effects of attacks done to this Pokémon.

 

CCC - Slap 30


PokéStop

Stadium

Once during each player’s turn, that player may discard 3 cards from the top of their deck. If a player discarded any item cards in this way, they put those Item cards into their hand.


Lure Module

Stadium

Each player reveals the top 3 cards of their Deck and puts all Pokemon they find there into their hand. Then, each player shuffles the other cards back into their deck.


Candela

Supporter

Draw 2 cards. If you drew any cards in this way, flip a coin. If heads, attach a Fire Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your benched Pokemon.


Spark

Supporter

Draw 2 cards. If you drew any cards in this way, flip a coin. If heads, attach a Lightning Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your benched Pokemon.


Blanche

Supporter

Draw 2 cards.  If you drew any cards in this way, flip a coin. If heads, attach a Water Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your benched Pokemon.

What do you guys think? I think Mewtwo VSTAR can be one of the candidates to be the top-tier contender of the format because you have Shadow Rider Calyrex as your energy accelerator. Also, these products seem to be highly collectable because it is not often that we get to see this kind of collaboration.
