Nest Ball, Arven, Penny, and Other Cards Revealed! Nest Ball is getting a reprint!

Pokemon Card Game Japan officially revealed Nest Ball, Arven, Penny, and other cards on their live stream of the Kyoto Champions League. All of these cards will be part of the upcoming set of Scarlet ex and Violet ex which will be released on January 20, 2023, at the price of 180 yen/Booster Pack.

This set will reintroduce the ex-mechanic. The ex mechanic is a mechanic similar to the other Rule Box Pokemon where you will give more Prize cards if your Pokémon is knocked. The difference that the ex-mechanic has is that you need to evolve from regular Pokemon (if it is an Evolution Pokemon).

There will also be a regulation change for Pokemon Tool which you can check here:

Here is the detail of the revealed cards:

What do you guys think of this card? Nest Ball is back! I think this is a great way to say goodbye to Quick Ball. However, some things may go worse because you can’t use Lumineon V’s ability when you are using Nest Ball. You also can’t use Nest Ball to discard as it doesn’t have any discarding power. But, being able to get another card that can call Basic Pokemon is still a good thing although our game style may differ a bit because Quick Ball can really be useful for thinning our hands, discarding Energy cards, and other useful things.
