Gallade V and Volo Revealed from S10a Dark Phantasma! Volo Full-Art Incoming!

Pokemon Card Game Japan has revealed another new card from the upcoming S10a 'Dark Phantasma' set. The 'Dark Phantasma' set will be released in Japan on May 13, 2022, and will include 71 cards before Secret Rares.

There will be 2 Radiant Pokemon in the set, Radiant Hisuian Sneasler and Radiant Gardevoir.

Here are the new cards that have been revealed from the ‘Dark Phantasma’ set:

Gallade V

FC - Rising Sword 20+

This attack does 50 more damage for each Prize card you have taken.

FFC - Buster Swing 130

This attack's damage isn't affected by Resistance.

Mr. Mime

P - Pound 20

PCC - Trick Slap 90

You and your opponent play Rock-Paper-Scissors until someone wins. If you win, during your opponent's next turn, prevent all effects, including damage, done to Mr. Mime by attacks from your opponent's Pokémon

Spiritomb

Ability - Cursed Message

If this Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack. Search your deck for a card and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

DD - Wisp Link 10+

This attack does 60 more damage for each Spiritomb in your discard pile.

Volo

Supporter

Choose 1 of your Benched Pokémon V, discard it and all attached cards to your discard pile.

What do you guys think? Gallade V is sure has some potential but because it is weak to Psychic-type, I think it will be hard to stand out in the format. Spiritomb also might be playable in some control deck or even as the additional attacker for a Dark-type deck. Then, Volo seems to be a good alternative for Cheren’s Care if you don’t play any Colorless Pokemon to save your Pokemon although you need to discard the chosen Pokemon.
