Some people/local shops in Japan got their hands on a pamphlet or brochure promoting the upcoming set ‘Snow Hazard’ and ‘Clay Burst’ which will be released on April 14, 2023. These sets will have over 71 cards and will also have Art Rare and Special Art Rare cards in each set. There are several new Pokemon on the brochure which are Forretress ex, Annihilape ex, and Mimikyu.

Forretress ex
Ability - Explosive Energy
Once during your turn, you may search your deck for up to 5 Energy cards from your deck and attach them to your Pokémon in any way you like. If you do, this Pokémon is Knocked Out.
GG - Guard Press 120
During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks.
Annihilape ex
F - Raging Grudge 20x
Put up to 12 damage counters on this Pokémon. This attack does 20 damage for each damage counter you placed in this way.
FC - Seismic Toss 150
Mimikyu
Ability - Safeguard
Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent's Pokémon ex and V.
PC - Ghost Eye
Put 7 damage counters on your opponent's Active Pokémon
What do you guys think of these cards? I think Mimikyu can be a game-changer in this format because of its wall mechanism while Forretress ex can be a breath of fresh air for the Grass deck where you can easily accelerate energy cards to your Pokemon. On the other hand, even though that Annihilape ex has a great attack with cheap attack cost, setting up stage-2 Pokemon may take time and you can easily get gusted by your opponent.
