English Illustration Rare Koraidon ex, Spidops ex, and Other Cards Revealed! Ready to play Koraidon ex?

Pokemon officially revealed Illustration Rare Koraidon ex, Spidops ex, Illustration Rare Pachirisu, Slowbro, and Maushold for the upcoming Scarlet & Violet set which will be released on March 31, 2023. This set will have over 190 cards with Illustration Rare as its highest rarity. You can also get an early preview of the set by participating in the Pre-Release event that will be held in selected Local Game Shops starting March 17, 2023. This set will be starring the legendary Pokemon in the Scarlet and Violet game, Koraidon and Miraidon, in the form of Pokemon ex cards which will be the new mechanic in the Scarlet & Violet era.

Koraidon ex (Illustration Rare/SAR)

Ability - Dino Cry

Once during your turn, you may attach up to 2 Basic Fighting Energy cards from your discard pile to your Basic Fighting Pokemon in any way you like. If you use this Ability, your turn ends.

FFC - Wild Impact 220

During your next turn, this Pokemon can’t attack.

Spidops ex

Ability - Trap Territory

The Retreat Cost of your opponent's Active Pokémon is 1 Colorless more.

GC - Wire Hang 90+

This attack does 30 more damage for each Colorless in your opponent's Active Pokémon's Retreat Cost.

Pachirisu (Illustration Rare/AR)

Ability - Electric Pouches

This Pokémon can’t be Paralyzed.

LC - Everyone Discharge 10+

This attack does 20 damage for each of your Benched Lightning Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness.

Slowbro

Ability - Strange Behavior

As often as you like during your turn, you can move 1 damage counter from your Pokémon to this Pokémon.

WC - Bubble Drain 60

Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon.

Maushold

C - Slap 40

CC - Family Attack 70x

This attack does 70 damage for each of your Maushold in play.

What do you guys think of this card? Illustration Rare Koraidon ex will definitely be the chase card for this set alongside Illustration Rare Miraidon ex. Pachirisu can also be a great card to chase because you can put it inside the Miraidon ex deck as your single-prize attacker. On the other hand, if you like to trap your opponent by increasing their Retreat Cost, you can chase Spidops ex which can also be paired with Leafeon VMAX.
