Hello, hope you guys have a nice day! Today I’m going to talk about a Colorless deck, it’s Blissey!

Here’s the decklist:

This is just an example, if the deck didn’t work for you, you can try to experiment with it yourself and get comfortable with it.

Deck Overview

You want to pile some energy in the trash while also charging your Blissey V. With Dunsparce in play, your Blissey V can take on Fighting Pokemon. Its ability is somewhat not too good so playing Path to the Peak can help you give some hard time to the opponent.

Blissey V

This is your main attacker. Blissey V can scale up nicely if it doesn’t get knocked in one go. Its attack can pile up damage quickly and with 6 energies you can hit 190 before counting Powerful Energy additional damage. If you manage to survive 2 turns, it can turn out to be a powerful attack. Then since it is a V Pokemon, you only give 2 Prize Cards so you can at least attack 3-4 times and if you calculate properly, it is enough to knock some VMAX Pokemon.

Cinccino Line

This is your engine, it synchronizes very well with Blissey V attack since you can discard some energy and draw cards. Also, since it is only a stage 1 engine, you can have more deck spaces with it. On the example above, I bring 3-3 lines of Cinccino and make sure to at least have 2 in play so you can draw more cards and discards more energies.

Dunsparce

Fusion Strike release some good cards for almost every type. Dunsparce is one of them. Its ability will make all Colorless Pokemon in play have no weakness. It really helps you since almost all Colorless Pokemon are weak to Fighting Type and can be knocked easily with Urshifu decks. I bring 2 copies of Dunsparce since it will definitely be knocked by Urshifu to recover its type advantage. Also, other decks can easily snipe it too since it only has 60 HP.

Trainers

I tend to play more Melony since you are likely to discard some energies, you can retrieve your discarded Water Energy and add more damage.

Quick Ball and Level Ball is my go-to for Pokemon searcher here. It is enough for me because all of them are searchable by these cards.

Crushing Hammer is an option, since you are a V Pokemon you tend to lose if you are facing some big hitter because your HP base is a bit lower than VMAX Pokemon. You can try to change this space with some energies or other Trainer cards.

I also bring 1 Pal Pad just in case I discard too many Supporter cards.

Path to the Peak is here too because, in my opinion, Blissey V’s ability is not too good, to begin with. So, unless you are facing a deck that plays so many Special Conditions, you are not using its ability. So Path to the Peak can be used to shut down the opponent.

Capture Energy is mandatory for me because you can draw out some basic Pokemon to help your setup. Lucky Energy is here too because sometimes you need more draw power and this is the card that can help you draw more cards.

Other than that, you can try to experiment with any cards especially around the special energy because Blissey V attack relies on piling up the energies onto your Blissey V

Matchup

If you are facing a Fighting deck, you can be in a tight spot unless you set up your Dunsparce quickly. But if you are facing Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX, you need to be careful because it can snipe your bench easily.

You are also in a bad spot if you are facing a big hitter like Single Strike Urshifu VMAX, Eternatus VMAX, or Rapid Strike Malamar. It can easily OHKO your Blissey V if you don’t wear the Cape of Toughness. Even SS Urshifu VMAX and RS Malamar can still KO your Blissey V if you are wearing the Cape of toughness.

Leafeon VMAX is also a hard matchup. Your base retreat cost is 4 and that is a big problem for you because you are getting hit with 240 damage and adding with Galar Mine is a 360 damage. Even if you survive the 240 damage, Rapid Strike Inteleon can easily snipe you with its ability. You can try to play some healing items or try to accumulate damage as fast as you can. Because if you get hit first, I think the probability to win is a bit lower.

Other than that, you can try to use Path to the Peak to try to hold your opponent while charging your Blissey V to attack.

Conclusion

So what do you guys think? Colorless Pokemon seems to have some chance in the meta with Dunsparce in play. This deck is also fun to play since you can pile up some energy and hit them with everything you got. Also, this deck can be a cute deck because Blissey V Alternate Art is cute (for some people).
